The CLIP Intermodal Terminal in Zabrze is a strategic hub on the European logistics map, providing efficient rail and road connections and quick access to major domestic and international markets.

Thanks to its advantageous location in Upper Silesia, the terminal supports the development of efficient supply chains and meets the demands of modern transport.

The crane serves:

• 4 container rows
• 4 handling tracks, each 750 m long

The terminal is equipped with a modern, dedicated IT system. The Terminal Operating System (TOS) is used for recording movements, monitoring storage times of units, tracking the storage locations of individual containers, and registering terminal entries through an advanced OCR camera system operating at both the rail gate and road gates. 

The terminal area is protected, illuminated, and monitored 24/7 by a CCTV surveillance system.

The Zabrze CLIP Terminal railway station and the access tracks to the handling area are electrified. Shunting operations are carried out using the carrier’s electric locomotive, enabling optimisation of handling times and operating costs.
