On November 15 2019 CLIP Intermodal Sp. z o.o .. CLIP Intermodal Sp. z o.o. is already the twentieth entity involved in joint business projects, offering complementary logistics services and supporting the development of customers and providing environmentally friendly solutions. The goal of the Agreement is to create, on the basis of the potential of its enterprises and the rail transport sector, freight forwarding and logistics in Poland and neighboring countries, a logistics platform / network as a system of entities creating an integrated logistics system recognizable throughout Europe. The agreement opens for its participants opportunities for mutual, multifaceted cooperation, the opportunity to engage in joint business projects, as well as a wide exchange of knowledge and experience in the dynamically developing TSL market. The agreement is to be a common “voice” and partner cooperation, supporting the development of intermodal transport or logistics supply chains. The signatories of the Agreement plan to cooperate for the development of competences and implementation of the latest techniques in logistics processes in their enterprises. Mutual promotion of entities among clients of domestic and foreign logistics services is assumed. Our joint activities are already bringing measurable benefits for both participants of the Agreement and for logistics services...

We are proud to announce that CLIP Group was the Honorary Guest of the jubilee Common Duck 2019, and this event was of great interest to entrepreneurs related to the sea. Over 2,100 people, the highest-ranking representatives of the maritime business from all over Poland and from abroad, as well as companies cooperating with them, participated in the meeting, traditionally held on the second Friday of October. The opening of this year’s meeting was honored with a speech by President Agnieszka Hipś.   The Common Duck has been organized since 2000, first in Gdańsk and since 2009 in Gdynia. Representatives of the highest state, regional and municipal authorities are present. Such a numerous and representative presence of officials emphasizes the importance and importance of the meeting, where friends, colleagues and competitors sit at the same table under one roof to talk about business, enjoy a nice atmosphere and good food....

Towards efficient and sustainable transport & logistics

On September 26, 2019, a conference entitled Towards efficient and sustainable transport & logistics took place in the new CLIP Group seat in Swarzędz. The event was organized together with the Dutch Embassy and the Dutch-Polish Chamber of Commerce and gathered transport and logistics experts, logistics service providers, industry organizations, transport companies and media representatives to jointly discuss important topics related to the development of the logistics industry. The conference began with a speech by Agnieszka Hipś, CEO of the CLIP Group and Sanne Kaasjager, Head of Economics at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Warsaw. Sanne Kaasjager in his speech emphasized the advantages of Poland resulting from a favorable location for both manufacturing and logistics companies in Europe. In addition, he presented the Dutch plans to achieve the objectives of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge, innovation and experience in logistics, The plenary session gave a broad view of international corridors and proved the huge potential of multimodal solutions for the global supply chain. Marcin Żurowski, director of the CLIP Group Intermodal Terminal, presented the latest technological innovations that will allow to increase the efficiency of intermodal operations. Maurits vaan Schuylenburg, project manager at the Port of Rotterdam Authority, highlighted the existing connections between the port of Rotterdam and Poland (“connected by rail”). In addition, he mentioned the potential arising from the transfer of 2.2 million tons of goods from roads to rail, which will result in a 38% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 30% reduction in costs.
